- 4 cups shredded Colby cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions (fresh)
- 1/4 cup chopped black olives, drained
- 1 (1 pound) loaf cocktail rye bread
- 1/2 cup real butter
Spread cocktail rye bread slices with butter. Top with equal amounts of the Colby cheese mixture. Arrange cocktail rye slices in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Broil in the preheated oven 5 to 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
Serve hot.
